The cloaked and disguised

Like all human beings, they pick up different names and identities, possess different attitude, embrace different events. Pick 10 randomly, a guy may look cool with his icy stare, another may look sissy because of his curls and feminine appearance. Turn around and look at the others, the girl looks so youthful wearing jersey, next to her the young man looks like a person with great intellect adjusting his black framed spectacles. Now behind the life's stage, who knows the doe-eyed pretty girl might be the next hypocrite whereas the good-looking man is actually a wolf in sheep's clothing?

People walk in and out of your life, some as friend, some as passerby in nature. But among the so-called Friends, how many of them have merely approached with attempt to take advantage then left without saying a word, and by now they treat you more like a stranger than a Friend. You don't have a clue what i'm talking about, do you? an instance:

X and Y are neighbors. X is good at baking cake; Y is inexperienced on the other hand. X is the type of person who gives generously whenever he can. One day Y is facing a shortage in flour, X picks up some and gives without expecting anything in return. Y thinks that the texture of his cake isn't nice enough, X gives help and advices. Y's oven is broken, X lends him one. As the good days go by, Y has sharpen his baking skills and owned a bakery house but seems like he's trying to be a little distant- zero conversation, turn away, avert his eyes as they passed each other, no more greetings. X gets disappointed by Y's behavior.

Anyway the question goes, how can you tell if a person is sincere? Some answer, we can spot the fake smile *wink* True (but not all the time) The fake one might look real at times. Yup facial expression are not billboards, people might look bounteous and friendly at first, but you never realize that they keep their ulterior motive so well until all of a sudden they become so harmless. They gradually extend themselves in friendship and get what they want then finally 'leave', but in fact they will be still in your surroundings most of the time. The better quartile remain 'friendly' but of course not 'so friendly' like the past and as for the worse quartile, they treat you like stranger.

Sometimes just when you really want to lend a helping hand and do good things for people, they seem to want more and more. And i don't get it why people get so so muka tembok nowadays

people tends to 'ask for more'

Probably you won't see me going around taunting people b'coz i personally think that ridiculing by means of laughter is hurtful. But since having conversation with these kind of people is sometimes inevitable, i play along, by holding on the principle You stab me in my forehead, i stab you back in your forehead- Tie :P Also at the same time, i keep my distance from them la --- save time save energy!

In a nutshell, i'm absolutely fine if people want to take advantage of any others or Me(if you think you can). But for those who wear mask tebal tebal, fake their emotion, my tolerance wears thin for them.

Shame on you

He'd probably like it... this was the first thought that came to my mind when i was receiving some light refreshment. I carried my bag, books and the bread without second-guessing, left the blood donation center. I wanted to head home immediately and give him this bread. But before i managed to get back home, i was shocked and saddened by what i've heard- He's gone

See, humans choose nice environment, build their own houses, plant beautiful trees, but is it a fault for some stray animals to roam around? Does stray animals' life mean nothing to you? They are homeless creatures and it's real sad that some people still fail to see these stray animal's feelings. I should maybe claim that humans know nothing except racking their brains everyday to figure out how to make more profits. Selfish, so so selfish. And as i know, besides euthanizing stray animals, DBKL sells stray dogs as well to dog-traders and dog-eaters. This is horrible. HORRIBLE! You cruel heartless beings can't you do anything better than killing defenseless creatures to make bucks!?! Shame on you!.. I really deeply hope that i could smack their bloody face with rotting sardin fish and expired apolo wafer cake, then stuff them into cage like how they've done to the poor beings. I hate DBKL team. I hate the person who called DBKL even more!

Back in time, this lil black stray dog came without warning to my housing area last sunday (i wished i could rehome the dog but mom....) Nevermind, i still feed him meaty bones and rice/bread so that he wouldn't get starved. But from now on i can never see or pet him, there'll be only wilted leaves lying on my house corridor, no more shadow wandering around..

Stray dogs too have their right to live, why humans can be so self-centered at times.. :(

Turnaround

There's no country in this world that's doing fine since nobody is ready for a global economy which is in the tough spot now. Even kids know this is really a colossal mess, because their ang pow money is less than any year previous hahaha. For us the non-businessleader non-investor, we can definitely help our parents by saving money (referring this specifically to spoiled kids who let money slips through their fingers like water, ur papa mama is neither billionaire nor money making machine ok)

From financial shock to sharp economic loss, what comes next? I'm sure there will be still a lot of shock and changes following. Like so many of us, we fear change because we're too afraid of losing. However change is a fact in life and it is constant. Refusal of dealing with change is simply like denying reality and you'll be stepping your life into bitterness.

At the early stage of confronting change, there's like a thousand no no no no no in your brain, then for the rest of the day or weeks, you feel depressed and unhappy, you think and fidget a lot, you say No to friends' invitation, you even get trouble going to sleep and waking up frequently in the middle of the night, you're not well-rested at all and it all comes to an idea: I hate living on earth! but deep down you know, you're given only 1 option in order to make progress- change! and change is the very first step before aspire, progress and evolve take place. So when time goes by, you start implementing change until one fine day you didn't realize that you've actually coped with it. You whisper to yourself hey, change is not such a bad thing right, it brings more good in fact, then you smile.

Serious, we really have to modify our perception that change is worthwhile (sometimes). Just like why grass bends with wind instead of showing the hardwood property--- when you accept, it doesn't mean give up. So it is really up to us whether to be a tall and big tree or a gentle spring grass. (start looking inward and be introspective people) But for now, neither pokok nor rumput i want to be, yawn~ i want to sleep

'See And Why' part II

Everything happens so fast and it takes time to realize what i have been through and how i have reacted during the peak of excitement, it seems like yesterday i was still doing spring cleaning checklist, playing with the 0.3mm thick dust, flinging unused items out my room, lending helping hand baking cookies, getting ready to begin my annual hometown 5d4n trip....

09's cny is slightly different because an annular eclipse (despite a total one) happened on 26 jan :D The sky was chock full of cloud and the bad weather nearly ruined everything. Anyway with the help of photo film, i viewed an impressive sight and snapped this.

Back to the fact that Digi coverage is terrible especially close area, guess what, it happens no more in dad's hometown because the company sent a number of well-trained YCF roaming around the village following digi users around. So kawan-kawan cousin-cousin uncle auntie junior senior schoolmate classmate please don't feel surprise seeing 'chen wei' on your mobile phone calling you up during cny :D

Talking about my hometown trip. Thank god i manage to get back here without losing my hearing. Imagine you are closing your eye enjoying the icy cool anglia shandy, the thunderous loud bang comes smack your ear fiercely. waa you can really experience a sharp pain in your eardrum. (additional info, the explosion occurs just 2 meter away from you, and believe me the wall of rumah papan can function only 2% noise filter, so if you do not even care or lazy to press your palms tightly against your ears, you're probably at the risk of hearing loss, end up conversing like a half deaf ah pek) A 1.5m long firecracker string costs.......no idea.... it's not cheap, though. 8 strings a day the family ignited, all together really cost an arm and a leg i guess...




Hmm i have a question here. When you visit your uncle/auntie, what they will ask? (ok people, start thinking!)
- How old are you? waah so biiiiig already ar(the standard opening line)
- Further studying?
- How's college/school?
- Got bf/gf?
- How's your result?
- Woah so round wan u
- some uncle auntie like to compare kids, in terms of height/studies
- some of them even wonder to whom do you belong -_-

When the interviewing session continues, you can't help feeling dread introducing yourself. Nevermind, because getting ang pau compensates everything after all XD

Sometimes i think, adults tend to do silly thing during cny- the gift giving culture. Some came visiting bringing big big hamper (they are not good gift actually, all junks and fattening food) Come on, true friend true heart doesn't need such thing. It creates stress to others (our parents) perhaps. You give me package A and expect me to return you package B, hahaha why so silly. Headache headache, here comes another undue pressure to our dear parents. So people if you don't waste your money do thing like this, you're stop adding extra wrinkles on my parents face, thank you

* Today is truly awesome because my gang's annual CNY Visiting has been executed successfully! Haha way from ampang to lagenda mas, caught up with friends and keep the bond tight. Thanks to all my 16++ friends for keeping our one-day event such joyous and wonderful ^^ Take care...!!
