No Pain No Gain

2 weeks back exactly, i was standing high up on the grassland with siblings and friends catching sunrise enjoying nice view from the forth summit intending to take cool photos of jumping in the air with spectacular scenery as backdrop. The morning was good as well as healthful- the warmth of sunshine, the caress of breeze, the smell of grass, the wetness of morning air, the energy of environmental spirit, the shout of relief......... everything was great 8) except for the attempt to produce Cool photo- stepped onto the stone... jumped! stepped onto the stone again.... jumped! you jump i jump, JuMp, JUmp, JUmP to get the best shot..... again again aaand again... we Fooled ourselves back then 'cz we look really stoopid in the photos lol. What to do?.. ain't born to be posers.... But we enjoyed the craziness of stupidity, didn't care if people thought we are idiot... 'cz WE ARE! >:P

Yes it was the day right before trial exam and i still went hiking, so what >:D I need to sweat like a pig in order to restore the the mood back, or else my brain wouldn't work well and it'll wander so far away... ponder about future, regrets, choices, opportunities, upcoming events, food.......... Hey Food.... I love food!... what to eat for breakfast tomorrow.....A.....B... C..... or ALL? :P :P but hold on..... hmm i should have done this....that....OMG where is my article??..... n heii why this song sounds so terrible wan....stop it go stop the song~!........

See? this is how the young lady would end up when she's not in her proper state of mind.

Looking at the double red dots in my ankle, the leech bites i've gotten when i went FRIM with some of my comrades 1.5 month back. Hadn't noticed'em until that late evening when i was about to take ma hot shower

Yaep it was still bleeding when discovered. Hey the leeches should feel lucky to be able to feed on my blood kay..... Healthy and nutritious, with good oxygen carrying capacity haemoglobin and good protein somemore, although slightly low in level of iron la XD but think about its size, the amount is fairly sufficient for its metabolism use isn't it? in fact it's more than enough! But seriously i really couldn't gain any lesson from it 'cz they are painless bites... and this's gonna show how right the saying goes- No Pain No Gain.

Life treats me good, still, though some ups and down have thrown to my way over the last few weeks, thanks to the happening, it had polished up my endurance, and i've grown with the lesson as well as the strength gained. I can at least bear pain better nowadays, despite numbness is what it feels now

Last day of September

Like any other typical busy Wednesday, i was supposed to have had my nose in any of the book revising at my study table. But today was rather different. I took a long nap in the evening, i spent my night watching "The Sixth Sense", i left my books unrevised, but who cares? :p

Watching my favourite film in the couch- I can't remember the last time how i pampered myself like this way. Sitting warm in the couch with dim light and night air, tonight was so right to stop imposing the pressure on myself for a while.

Talking about "The Sixth Sense", i watched it on TV when i was 11 with my older sister, and
few minutes ago i watched it on TV again! :D Well The Sixth Sense is one of the notable film personally, 'cause it was the first thriller film i understood so well that even my older sister needed me to explain the movie to her XP (as she is normally the one to do so) and that certainly made me super proud!!! thus from that day on, thriller/horror film had become my favourite movie genre! (^o^)v

Thus far, personal experience records japanese horror movies carry the highest shock value.. followed by thai, korean then british... "Shutter" is my another fav asian horror movie :P Hmm there's only one malaysian horror film that earned
successfully the label 'qualified-as-thriller-movie' from me- "The Eye" as the rest i characterized them as comedy. I was 12 when i watched it, with my siblings and neighbour's sons(best childhood companion), and the best part in "The Eye" was the hospital section (as we were having the maximum volume on our tv) where the old nenek moaned~ in the hosp ward corridor, MAN IT SCARED MY PANTS OFF!!!!! with my almost burst eardrum! The fear was quickly barnished anyhow when we burst into laughter in a few seconds later as we discovered ourselves clumping together, hiding into each other's back having hands closing both ears lol.. My childhood- owh it's the best time of my life

So today's the last day of september. It's a month that i'd mark it Great, or sort of, 'caused it's wrapped up with such a blissful night

Have a good day people =]

The family reunion

It's been raining with dark clouds emblazoning the sky, matching with still air and heat energy trapped close to the ground, this afternoon wasn't pleasant at all. You know when warmth and dampness happened at the same time, it brought about stickiness especially skin in your neck, chin, back of ears, arms, back knee...... argh i just can't stand with it! And if only you can see me, i'm now having my hair partially wet- Yep i just had a shower and got all my uncomfortableness rinsed off! i feel clean and fresh now :D (though Protex doesn't really smell good, at least for me)

So yesterday night i had gone through so much pleasure chewing the fats and having steambot dinner with my high school close buddies who we haven't seen each other since cny. Another year older, another year wiser. In this critical age, studies and future undertakings is the standard topic to go through
invariably, to talk, complain and rant together! >:D What makes the evening even better was the great Secret which had been revealed in a great way. Among the responses were eyes wide open, stunned face, dropped jaw, mouth covered with hand...... hah all kind of i'm-so-surprised looking came out. "As expected, it happened eventually" some just let these words out right after being informed, like fortune teller.. Anyway secret holder thank you for sharing such a nice thing (hey we should have celebrated it wad) we wish you a soulful living with one another alright :D

On the way back home i started to realize, i didn't take them as friends anymore.... but Family 'cause it takes more than caring to be friends.. With their living shadows and shoulders to bond along, i'm no longer the lonely candle in the dark burning on my own... The companionship is priceless whether near or far apart. Buddies i love you!!

SM, wish you a very happy birthday :D To Kelly and Joanne, all the best in India, we'll miss you..*hugs* =)

By the way umm do anybody know is there any shop in KL selling Korean product?? wanna help mom to buy some sea vege.....

The story of Didy

I just don't find any interest in anything, that's why i'm here slouching in this yellow IKEA foldable chair having this thought of reorganizing all the files saved on this computer as their fragments can be found all around in the bar, on desktop... like dried leaves which have never been cleaned scattering haphazardly around the field. In the midway of operation of attempt, i found this photo that reminds me one fine evening when i was doing daily chore as usual collecting sun-dried clothes...

Yes it's a lizard, a dead one.

Wad happened to the lizard? Dehydrated due to long-term exposure to sunlight?

Noooope..

Yucky colour.. you poisoned it arr?

*Smack* There's far more better things to do than to kill a helpless creatures okay. (neway it was on the sliding roof under the sets of bar where mom used to hang and dry clothes)

A photo reveals only things on the surface, you do not know, behind this dead body lies this story actually...

There was once a lizard named Didy whose biggest desire is to sunbathe on Beach of Kokuduohitaevoirmashitomoro de BMX McEllewiishawlgurt (lizard language, i dunno wad it means but i know where izit- longkang right behind my house which i think it's a paradise for them as mosquito eaters) So on Didy's birthday, Pete, his best friend wanted to give him a surprise thus gave him a call the night before so as to ask Didy to wait for him on balcony at 5am sharp on the next day.

(the next morning...)

Didy reached there earlier than he was supposed to. Hearing the morning song of insects.... it was pitch-dark.... Didy waited, waited and waited... 20 minutes past....Pete didn't show up. Still patiently... he continued waiting for the sake of pricelsss friendship....

(6 minutes later...)

Pete(who lives far away) reached the balcony finally, was late due to heavy traffic. He was totally shocked when seeing his best friend's dead body laying right in the center of the balcony..

"Few minutes ago a cat came and 'played' with ur friend until he died..." pronounced a pigeon while flapping its wings.

There's a lump in Pete's throat, he wept, tears that rolled down slowly wet his tiny cheek,
but there's no way for him to bring his friend back to life..... He grieved greatly over the loss.

Meanwhile the sun rose... the ground was lit gradually... diminishing trace of darkness which inevitably reflected the heartbreaking scenes of the cat swiping its paw at Didy.. Pete stood up, carried Didy's dead body and put it down slowly, carefully on the sloping roof... The sunlight was so luminous, warm and inviting in that particular morning, as if it was meant for Didy...

The Smoky Festival

Hungry Ghost Festival celebration always reminds me the good old days when me and my childhood companions were sitting in a circle joining the old ladies, folding the gold and silver papers into yuanbao, offering prayers at night for the roaming spirits, as if it had been our habit to do so annually. Believe it or not, we (the Shoplot's-Kids) were popular among the old uncles and aunties due to our annual presence to stick around throughout the entire celebration. Years over years, the familiar faces alters with age: the uncles n aunties all look older, the kids are now dah besar panjang, going their separate ways, flying their own kites luu

Thanks to our human nature- old habit dies hard, until today, the Shoplot's-Kids(older version la) are still enthusiastic about this meaningful tradition. They still join the crowd to perform prayers, burn paper money as offering for the wandering souls (which are believed that they were not given a proper sendoff or status thus remained wandering all the time)
And in the blink of an eye, the yearly Hungry Ghost Festival celebration had just ended. The flow was great, (excluding the live stage performance part!) as the situations were much more manageable and controllable compare to that of the other previous years. What makes this year rather different is that the presence of pure breeding seafood. Looked left- lil girls in mini skirt; Looked right- schooling boys with piercings in ears; Looked forward- lil boys in thick glittering jacket; Looked back- teenage girls in hot pants, HALO this is neither fashion stage nor Project Runway rite?! Teenagers nowadays..... sigh~!!

Counting a week back.... i was still preparing some important stuff for ma camp. Dive into the pool of reminiscence, we were all so excited working together towards the same goal, went w/o food for 30 straight hours to show support towards the children who go hungry.. (relate 'no food for 30hr' to the statement 'guys generally need more calories than girls', these guys have great tolerance for hunger like girls, seriously they earned my highest respect *salute salute*) To all devoted Faminators, thanks for making our 30-hr DIY Famine camp such joyful and memorable ^^

Well as for my result, i already gave myself a kiss and a well-done hand clap; At the same time, Congratz to all my classmates/coursemates who have done well in our previous exam and let's move on! :D

Half-deaf

Since monday morning, i have been half deaf, all of a sudden, this is not the first time. Reasons? Possibly water entered while having shower that brought about the blockage, but hey if this is the case, it should have dried off (at least a bit) rite; the same level of irritation shouldn't have persisted for more than 4 days rite? I've tried using earwax removal tool to unclog it to some degree but nothing changes, that's why i'm now here having little hearing in my right ear =.=

Having reduced ability to hear, only phrase/words that are spoken louder could be heard. All i've got to do is Link and Think (link the words and think up possible ideas of connecting the scattered words to bring about a logical full picture) which usually consumed more than 2 seconds before i reacted. Have a look at this example:

Class was about to start...

"Yday night............ homework.......... maths..........." shinlu spoke in her usual way but i only managed to hear these few terms although i've thrust my right ear as close as possible. Tiit tiit tiit... My logical department immediately started operating... Is she trying to ask anything bt our previous maths h/w? hasn't she complete the maths? or it's merely an expression? Tiit tiiiit tooot tiiiitt..toottt ttiit... (still operating) Tooooooott....!! (operation failed) I looked at her cluelessly- "Har?"

"friday....gathering......house....."

"break......14.......go...."

( XO i can't hear )

Situations were ridiculous and we could only hold back our laugh during class.

You know, when you have your best friend sitting next to you, there's some kind of energy comes from nowhere that always makes you want to talk talk and talk as if there's no tomorrow and the conversation could travel miles down the bottomless track. She talks, i talk, we both talk a lot :D But since i'm mute for these few days (when sometimes i couldn't even hear or respond), she tends to end up talking to herself and people would have thought that she's a patient with mental disorder hahah! *Ouch!* my conscience just whacked me, feel so bad now lol

Okaay so what have i been up to lately? Well being a part of the committee of a DIY 30hr famine camp, weekends had been fun in the past couple of weeks and i'm anticipating the day indeed. For whoever who has donated to help the children and families in need somewhere on earth, i thank you for your kindness.

Things we have been awaiting is finally approaching- Results! Yes, results, will be released shortly on next thursday. I'm sure that my coursemates are all excited, yet nervous. Still, good luck to everybuddy! (and to myself too)

Have a nice day!

Tuesday morning

Glanced at the clock, it said eight thirty-five, which is almost an hour before today's class started. Put on my socks, grabbed the last look of the familiar image in the mirror to check if there's any untidiness- Alright passed! Got my bag and books, headed downstairs, wore my sneakers- It's breakfast time.

Munching on my favorite breakfast cereal, reading the third line of an article in the newspaper...

Mom:"Your bro won't stay back today so wad time you'll be coming back arh?"

Think think.....class ends at 2pm... subjects: bio, chem.... amount of homework....alright...
I cleared my throat. "Two la."

.
.
.
.
(few minutes later)
.
.
.
.

Mom:"Later u got lunch break arh..."
(Ok when she raises this question, paying a visit to Maybank would be one of my activity that day)

Being a fast eater, i had my cereal bowl almost empty within 5 minutes. Stole a glance at the white clock on the wall, tidied up the newspapers, washed the dish.

"EPF payment arr?" I asked, as mom was busy filling in all those green colour slip in a hurried way while nodding as her response.

Looking dull, no smile nor glow in the face, leaning the wall.. (imagine chen wei in a totally lazy posture)
I never liked tuesday and wednesday morning cz class starts at half-past-nine (u know, there's some kind of heavy feeling when waking up late with sunlight as if one-quarter of the day is gone and you couldn't find anything interesting enough to occupy your mind) That's why I always prefer to take classes early in the morning.

Utilizing their humour with a twist of madness,
Hitz.fm morning crew jj and ean just got me laughing alone in the car almost every morning, with gotcha calls and sometimes my fav songs played on air, this is how my energy-boosting therapy takes place every morning =)

There was once a guy named Robert (if i'm not mistaken) called up for the hitz 5000 ringgit thing.. "YoYoYo! hitz five thousand rinngit says it's me man!!" this guy sounded very very excited, as if he's the winner lol, the conversation then went on.. Whatever it is, this guy just likes adding "man" at the back of every line he spoke. Although he was not the winner at the end, i'm still astonished at his spirit, the true morning spirit! that made him stand out among the rest. Haha! he just made my day.

Home

Choose the correct answer.

Which factor(s) contribute to my presence in library almost everyday after class:
A) To complete homework as much as i could before going home
B) To wait for and fetch my lil sister/bro after they've finished their after-school activity/tuition class
C) Library is a chamber of knowledge with silence and peacefulness within, i just like to stay there
D) I don't wanna go home! for that moment
E) All of the above

Personally i define Home as
a place where i can find peace. But lately my home doesn't look really like a home cz i can no longer look for quietness, instead circulation of sickening voice from the next door. I chosed to stay back so that i could spare my time doing revision at night, i have been such a good girl lately XP

Imagine cracking voice singing out of tune, sometimes with lack sense of rhythm, man i have to take this everyday! I do anticipate going home you know, but not as much as those days where i could feel the pleasant being at home. I walk upstairs with slower and heavier steps nowadays, reluctantly, as if there's some kind of force holding back my motion.

I'm not sure what brings me this kind of idea suddenly, i just want to traslate this piece of thought onto here--- There's this kind of people on earth who do nothing but only trying to wait for unexpected fortune a.k.a durian runtuh. If only i can help any of the holy spirit, i would want to give these people a surprise- a durian as they wish, a BIG BIG durian, falling right on top their head... chee ba boom!!! Newspaper headline for the next day: Young man die from a falling durian *clap hand clap hand* Lesson of the day, don't expect durian runtuh, or else you yourself will get runtuh-ed by durian.

K back, i visited friends' house sometimes and i found something i can hardly (maybe never have)--- Peace. Apparently there's less passing vehicles (zero passing vehicle in fact for houses within a closed residential area), no karaoke center, no operating-engine noise, in short no noise pollution.

Living in a shophouse is not all bad things anyway, apart from karaoke center section, the rest are awesome, as it used to be. The customers, the environment, the experience, they were my teachers throughout these growing years; The street, the life, the competition, they were the fuel that drives me here today.

What's your neighbour's surname? How often do you talk to them?
Who's living next next next door? Ha only now you realized that you're not close with ya neighbour don't ya. Family to family connection, linked to formation of a big family, this is one of the advantage living in shophouse, it feels great and secure walking down the street cz everybody is already your friend, even family. I love my house, very much :)

Anyway E is the answer.

Enjoy your weekend people.

18.7.09

Live it up!

Choose a programme, plan your weekend activities, begin the countdown to weekend, wake up each day and tell yourself "hey i'm going to (somewhere) this saturday" Literally this is one of the way to make a good week.

It's understood that why people called their lives Boring when they need to repeat the monotonous task each day like machine. Most of them will probably take the job as a daysleeper (like me, i mean, the old me) particularly on saturday or sunday that they think they might compensate themselves with enough sleeps so that they could start off a brand new week by healing their
about-to-collapse-mind, as it doesn't really work out well actually, b'cause of their Thoughts.

Ask yourself "Am i really happy?" while actually you don't even need to do so cz internally you clearly know that you're not, at all. You took the test on facebook to find out how joyful you treated life but deep down you always realized that you're not enjoying at all. In such manner it's not wrong for me to say that it's not the test that guides you to understand yourself better but you yourself is actually testing on how accurate the result serves. See wad i mean? Yes, nobody understands you better, other than you yourself.

So instead of being daySlipper... sorry i mean daySleeper, try arrange your favourite activities or at least some great event per week for yourself to keep you moving on and you'll eventually realize... hey i've make through the days... then can give yourself a kiss =)

[O.O it's almost 12 dy and i'm still sitting here crapping.. k the last one, i'm goin to attend my cousin's.. (not really 'cousin' actually... he's my cousin's wife's youngest brother..) wedding dinner tonight in pahang] Have a great day people!

Decolorization

Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum! I smell this rotten blog that's why i'm here to see if everything's alright.

So finally i can have a couple of time to spare here typing, connecting myself back to this global communication system, turning a new page for this site.

Well it's been 2 weeks since my last semester started, the first week was kind of... oh my god tis's gonna be a sticky patch to go through...as we met greater demand and tougher adversities.. oh could i? could i take the pressure?.. There was a point in my life i fidgeted a lot, almost all the time with bottomless reasons. I've gone through the days being a machine, living like nobody until the day i come across articles on newspaper, only to discover that i've actually got serious depression XD

Hold on..

PIIIIIAK!!! *mosquito gets killed* (yes i've been keeping an eye on this mosquito which has been distracting buzzing around..) K let's move on :D

People come checkout the following symptoms to see if you're one of the Blue Patient:

- Sadness and hopelessness
- Irritability

- Tearfulness or frequent crying
- Withdrawal from friends
- Loss of interest in activities
- Changes in eating and sleeping habit
- Restlessness
- Feeling of worthlessness
- Lack of enthusiasm and motivation
- Fatigue

- Difficulty concentrating

- Thoughts of suicide

So if you have more than half the statement checked, you're probably one of them. How blue izit? should be more or less within the range from the blue of Benedict's reagent to dark blue result when starch meets iodine solution, wadever.. you yourself know it =] yet the bottom line is, consider what makes contribution to your miserable cycle and try take measure. It ain't easy to make a turning point but trust me, as soon as you revive your spirit within and truly find out that there's always two sides in every occurrence, you'd always prefer the good want cz deep down you know that you gotta treat yourself well by not letting Blue to mask you again.

So chen wei u mean u've thought bt suicide??
Nah the 3rd and last statements r exceptional- i do get real depressed but, i still love Life
:) n crying is not my style

Life is Multiple-Choice Questions in examination, the difference is only that there's no time limit
before making your best decision. You take your time, rest whenever you want, carry on whenever you prefer, speed is nothing but don't plan to commit suicide la. Love your life k =]

So by the time stepping into the second week, i suddenly started seeing trace of sunlight, fluffy clouds, delightful green plants and flowers, chirping birds, worker bees, butterflies and all the beautiful things all around. I'm not sure what makes my blue decolourises so fast and brought me out from all kind of excessive worrying, i just got myself out of the dreadful situation and of course i'd want to work on it to keep things flowing this way :]

Hmmmm will be testing on fresh chapters of C3 tml (suppose it should be an Exercise at first..) aah dun care, there's nothing to fear about since revision is done rite :P
Alright will probably update more during weekends (as i hope i could hahah)

Have a good day people! :)

The Speaker Issue

Thanks to the gift from evolution with voicebox at the upper part of trachea, human are too good to be given the ability to talk, supplement by tongue, mouth and lips of course. So it's not wrong to say that conquering the planet now are a large group of Speakers, who converse like nobody when young but then develop to speak like a pro eventually contributing to their family, society, even the world like some of them do presently.

Let's focus on people around you yourself instead of looking at the entire population of Speakers. For sure, characteristics vary by the type of Speakers, say Active Speaker voices out their concerns with good attempt providing boundless excellent viewpoints; Passive Speaker only speaks when necessary; Main Speaker represents idea by resembling a number of thoughts from Quiet Speakers whereas Loud Speaker spread info efficiently. So you can see these Speakers are under the branch of Good Speakers that do good, fit to bring constructive results, delivering things up the level. As for the Bad company, the body composed of Spoilt Speaker that never sound nice at every moment they open their mouth; Candy Speaker who loves flirting around; Hidden Speakers who dish the dirt...etc.

For some portion of the people, i'm not sure why don't they think before they talk, yes they do have brain but why the h*ll they talk like no brain, bringing in witless remarks, discrediting their self-value.. izit b'cz they deliberately do so to cheapen themselves or perhaps their brains are just a chunk of rotten inept folded tubes merely filling up the space inside the skull..

Okay nevermind let's move on to another category- Bow&Arrow Speaker. They have well-functioning brain but sadly they don't use it when talking, never care or put other people's feeling into consideration, throwing words that are likely to pierce through one's soul (on purpose? or not? ah don't care)

Personally, people i'm not comfortable with are those who make sarcastic remarks ALL THE TIME, bring up laughter using irony incessantly, prone to lashing out at the wrong time that are going to offend people around (i wonder if they realized)

Well listening without defending is almost my nature as long as they do not cross the line but when Cactus blunts out vitriolic words attacking Tender Flower, i'm more inclined to make a stand against the Cactus or remark that are conducive in balancing the Cactus's harsh nature or..... anything, just anything!.. as long as i get to watch the Flowers' back, cz you you're going to agree with me that it feels utterly bad to see our friends being offended and it even kills us to look at them being hurt and helpless don't ya.

It's all about remarks after all. An encouraging word can help a person to make through the day while a destructive word could scroll a person from high up the sky to deep down in the ground. Sometimes parents might not realized that their "no need to go la" may daunt their son/daughter; while a single phrase "where can?!" from a teammate could sabotage one's effort and confidence in the pursuit of excellence. You now see how powerful the impact is a word could convey, so be cautious of how and what you speak cz you can either help people to shake off sticky patch, or kill them by verbalizing words that are powerful enough to smash them into pieces.

So, speak life, not disaster.

Jacob's 'Run for Your Life'

Move and sweat! Keeping in contact with outdoor activity is almost a need to keep me fresh and energized, as if there were some kind of medication stimulant that only happens in natural environment to push everything to the back of one's mind. Try imagine, wearing sport attire, feeling the sunlight on ya face, kissing the fresh air, letting the breeze gently brush through ur hair (make sure without dandruff problem)..... waah so blissful so relaxing, don't ya feel the same as me- this is one of the best way to loosen up after some hectic living days?

Participating in Jacob's Walk of Life 2009 has been listed as one of my June's programme. So briefly i would just say that it's
not as efficient as last year, not as fun as last year (b'cz they didn't serve Oatmeal Apple anymore for breakfast =[ )

(they shd feel thankful for having me to help advertising their product ha!)

In short there's still much room for refinement. And as for the staff, i guess, they should have gone through hard time after the event for mis-organising their way of working that led to such mess and contributed to a part of the programme failure. Anyhow staff-staff yang disayangi, don't feel too bad k cz at least, you gained extra points for your personal life experience right.

Funny thing i found this morning was, people just couldn't help squeezing making their way through the crowd to the very front line before flag-off... halo this ain't run-to-win-the-prize competition k, as far as i know they never mentioned "wang tunai & hadiah-hadiah istimewa sebanyak RMXX,000,000 untuk dimeanangi" on advertisement right lol. Then just when they sounded the honk, people started running pushing each other, fighting to be no.1, doing their best dashing forward. Their moves like running at top speed overtaking each other were more like running when disaster strikes, running to save their own lives hahaha! it's no longer Jacob's Walk of Life in fact but Jacob's Run for Your Life!

So i have six more days to spend... Hey i'm in mood for studies i guess, feel like starting ma' 3rd semester already, since the strength and mind power are almost back ha!

Not to forget, a message to my Superman,
Happy Father's Day Dada!!! i love you incredibly much!
^^

Term Break

Food taste so bland lately but things happened differently since last friday night. Everything looked so good so delish, even a cup of plain drinking water! Yeah finally i've finished my partial job of being a studying-machine, finished my exam! :D My taste bud is much more alive now! can even taste and estimate the amount of ajinomoto added by hawker into my pan mee soup lol.

So before the last and we shall call it the most tedious semester starts, letting our hair down is really a must to rebuild and restore our Liveliness which had been worn out by certain amount of tension during exam preparation all under restless condition. Hmm wonder if there's such system through which students can get their grades right after finishing the exam, more or less like car theory test, but since it's all essay questions so the checking setup must have super-high sensitivity and accuracy towards handwritings and the other hand students get to recognize their mistakes as soon as papers are given back for review only in a closed-room. Efficient huh' (aah can't wait for results)

Aaah feet are sweating, so everytime this happens i gotta remind myself these few things- i can't get down off my chair (cz i'll leave wet footsteps and make the floor sticky and dirty); or if i do so, i have to tip toe around to minimize the sweaty-footprint area =.= i can't walk fast with bare and wet feet afterall (they can make me slip anytime). Sounds bothersome doesn't it? (yae sometimes)

(ignore the background wording)

Anyway believe me, there's always good side for every disaster. Wet feet isn't such a bad thing actually, it's a good way to practice skating... (skating??) YES skating! not kidding wei. With almost constantly excessive sweaty feet, one can easily propel across the ceramic tile floor, dun believe me? yep, not everybody can do this. So some of you need not waste petrol, driving all the way out to Sunway Pyramid just for ice-skating, cz you can now do it at home--- Tile-skating!! :D Tile-skating prepares you directly private skating rink to embrace the sense of freedom and confidence while having cold wind (maximise ur home cooling sys) brushing your face, you can even play your favorite music in the background to enhance the ambience, you don't even need to purchase glove nor socks to do this, what's more, it's FREE!!! :D But again, not everybody can do so

*please note: when finished 'skating', obediently clean the floor with sponge mop k, ur mama's yelling is not my responsibility*

Sometimes i just couldn't understand why some people can't seem to value Friendship.
Shane is Eric's closest friend in school, until one day Shane received complaint from Samantha about his bad attitude towards work, there's no longer friendship between them, b'cz Shane though Eric had been badmouthing him (as Samantha mentioned that his attitude causes displeasure in his closest friend, Eric as well) The day after, Eric apologized and felt sorry for expressing the annoyance once to their friends who have the common idea
about Shane's poor attitude, but Shane doesn't seem to bother bout Eric's (the so-called betrayal) explanation, leaving Eric in cold by not even responding to Eric's warm Hi for almost each morning.

Apparently bad comments which come from the person who you thought you can trust the most is extremely hurtful, i of course agree up to a point, but mind you, the bad comment doesn't only come from one's lips, it's from MANY. Seriously have you ever thought of being introspective for at least a minutes and reconsider if there's really something wrong with you yourself. And for undefined reason, Shane shattered the faith, trust and the more-than-five-years Friendship.

No worries it doesn't happen to the blogger (cz her friends are all thoughtful, smart with mature thinking) but happened to a girl very close to her. I always feel deep gratitude for having all the great friends in this life, but i feel sorry at the same time that i couldn't help her. Let's just hope that something better will compensate her lost.

Noise contaminants

It's one of those evenings when i finished revision, i just realized that my used-to-be-peaceful-weekdays has gone, since the 2nd floor of the double-storey-shop next to my house is rent out to be used as karaoke box designed for old folks. The renter is going to launch officially his karaoke business on next monday but right now i can already listen to the background music and their out-of-tune singing that happens just right behind the wall my back is facing which isn't soundproofing and could only trap 60% of the noise, leaving the rest 40% to my ears. Musics are still ok but you know, we can't stand out-of-tune vocals, they are noise, noise, noise! Arrghh why he chose here and why you, yes you! the shop owner agreed to rent your unit to this...this....... karaoke-business-uncle-group?! when you know this kind of service is going to shatter the serenity of this well-being old residential area *shake head shake head* ..look like i have to switch my mind-schedule and move things all earlier before the noise begins.

Enzymes

I suppose most of you have heard about Enzyme Drink, not gonna repeat the information about the functions, advantages, methods and some of those those common seeing information.

Here sharing a rarely known fact:
One may find abnormalities in body such as abdominal bloating, headache(slight), no appetite, nausea, insomnia or itchy skin after a period of taking enzymes. These are not the bad signs but conversely signifies reactivated cellular metabolism, elimination of foreign substance, excretion of toxin in one's body.

So as we can see, due to ignorance consumers tend to fear and misunderstood then stopped taking enzyme which in return cutoff their way towards successful enzyme therapies.

So instead of buying products in market, why not try making your own homemade fruit enzymes through which you can find a lot of fun performing the series of actions using ingredients you personally prefer :D at the same time save you a ton of money.

One can try using:-

Fruits
: apple, grapes, lychee, pineapple, papaya, strawberry, watermelon, banana(i wonder how it tastes)

Vegetables
: white carrot, bittergoud, capsicum, tomato, sweetpotatoes, pumpkin, cucumber

Herbs
: gingers, mushrooms, peppermint

fermentation of fruit extract

(I tried pineapples, starfruits, guava, grapes, kiwi, apple, dragonfruit, they taste great :P)

Ok, done with Enzymes.

So preparation for my upcoming exam that will start on june explains my absence for the past weeks (also for the next few weeks i suppose)

Have a great week people =]

The Glutinous Tetrahedral

Unlike the usual sundays that i used to have my blanket over head till noon, i happened to be up early this morning to wrap dumplings! This year is quite different, as i finally earned the name Helper from mom regarding this occasion. Compare to ten years back i was still having trouble grasping the larger-than-my-palms-dumpling. After the years of upgrading and refinements, from Inept to 'average-Skillful', i could finally lend my helping hand since i'm quite free lately rather than lazing around in the bed.

Things went on smoothly- not for me of course, i mean mom. With the assembled shallow experience and inconsistent skills, the filling, wrapping and tying steps were repetitively carried out, sometimes without a hitch, but sometimes there were be some inevitably flaw. Of all the processes, i find that the quite 'tiring' part is the wrapping section, it's like..

look at ppl's one.... nicely perfect filled tetrahedral; look at yours, tetrahedral too, but why so weird wan

*unwrapped, rewrapped... compared with mom's dumpling

why so short wan this edge

*unwrapped, rewrapped... compared
... ... ...

For people who own close association with Art, i believe your Arty Side might have marked certain standard and conditions which varies from one and other individual before you identify an object or image- Nice don't ya. Don't understand? C'mon it's a simple principle, like in daily life, how guys rate girls as leng lui, how girls value guys as leng zai. Yea you get it haha.

So getting in touch with this arty-side along the whole session, i didn't and never like to move on wrapping the next one as long as the current doing doesn't meet the qualification of OK, ended up unwrapped, rewrapped, unwrapped, rewrapped. Imagine you're going through hard time wrapping wrapping and wrapping but it doesn't happen as if it supposed to be, added on hearing the uninteresting conversations between 2 male DJs who lack sense of humour on XX.fm, sharing jokes which doesn't really sound like a joke that 'bombed' audience and brought them into speechless, so lame, even made crow flies across...

*You can go turn off the radio wad
- cannot la mom wanna listen

The conclusion is: I could wrap a really nice one, just that i need a lot of Time
(Face it, you're slow!)

*****************************************************************

So by now you should have had a number on mind. Anybody?

"25!"
Yes!!!!!!!!!! you're wrong

"Eleven!" "33?" "Twenty-one?" "9!!"

"Thirteen??!" "22?"

"Twenty-four!!"
"15?" "Sev..."

Hold on.. Yes Fifteen!! Come on stage the one who said that.

*The Yolk Lover Lii Meryn running lintang pukang all the way from downstairs to upstairs (imagine all in slow motion lol), got the hot dumpling, unenveloped the wrapper, slightly tore it open to reveal the fillings, letting out the fragrant aroma, allowing the steam to escape. One bite rewarded her taste buds, another satisfied her curiosity, third bite rejoiced her oral cavity with mouthfull of Yolk... by less than 8 bites the dumpling is already inside her digestive tract.

Oh ya to anyone who guessed it correctly, feel free to ring my doorbell to collect your Dumpling before june 2009.

Notification:

Winners are responsible for their own prize collection. Prizes that remained unclaimed by winner within certain period mentioned will be forfeited. HAhahA!

Mum, mommy, ma', maid?

Living in a shop-house since young enables me to collect waste materials for personal use during childhood, say coconut shells to make sandals, plastic bags and nylon string to make kites (which couldn't really fly)

Yeah as i remember, I made a Carnation out of toilet papers and solder to show mom my love. Happy and satisfied, i handed over the flower to my mom. I'm not sure what type of reaction she gave when receiving it but when later i was told that WHITE carnation indicates that a person's mom is deceased, (choi!! touch wood touch wood) i took it off mom's hand, having an invisible phrase on top of my head showing her Give me some time, i can fix it! I got myself the watercolour paint and made a very-diluted pink colour solution. Guess what? I soaked the whole ball of flower into the paint -_-'' Imagine a wet, wrinkled, dense and heavy shapeless tissue, you now know how my nicely, fluffy layered flower turned into =.= The flowe... nope not flower, instead, the wet clump found its permanent home in the rubbish bin.

There's a woman i know, she's strict but kind, firm yet understanding, she sets limits, she's responsible--- just as every Mothers do. What makes her more special is that: she's busy, what kind of busy? she cooks meals for her children at the same time looks after her husband's shop, she knows how to repair lamps, household appliance like rice cooker and iron, she's thrifty, she doesn't like shopping, but she loves to cook! and i must mention that she can cook very-very-very well, really, from chinese dishes to desserts, she can sew well with or without sewing machine. I really look up to her cz truly, not every mother can do so. So Mommy is her name, and i'm so lucky to call her Mommy not Aunty.

In conjunction with Mother's Day, here's a poem dedicated for you, mom:

Drifting back the days I put on the green and white uniform,

It was the past day of kindergarten,
You combed and braided my hair,

To make me look great like flowers in the garden.

A for apple, B for boy,
You spent time teaching and improved my Spelling,

You served and made silent sacrifice,

That's why you always went to bed early cz i know it's tiring.

I played, i tripped, i made mistakes,
Over the years you've been watching,

With love, patience, and bottomless care,

You knead, shape and mould my being.

Dumpling, mooncake, custard tart, pudding,

I'm typing here with my saliva dripped,
Char siew pau, tao sar pau, siew pau... you name it,

Don't you know her kitchen is well-equipped?

In those days i was too short to reach your waist,
And i wondered how to grow taller,
Even though i'm now tall enough to have my arms around your shoulder,

When seeing your more and more grey hair, my heart sinks deeper.

Sometimes i slipped and fell down,
With a cut and pain in my knee,
You handed over the first-aid kit and left,

But deep down you were keeping an eye on me.

You can cover lines in your working hands,
But you can't hide those on your face,
Ma' i wanna protect and keep you healthy,
When someday i acquire recognition and stronger pace.

Mom I love you more than i can say. Thanks for being my superwoman, my mighty, my incredible mom!

-From ya daughter-

*If someday i find out anybody's treating and taking their Mom as Maid, i'll want to slap'em hardly, seriously*

Here honoring all Mothers, Happy Mother's Day! =)

The shadow

I can't sleep, i feel so awake sometimes in the late of night, usually toss and turn like chicken wing being turned repeatedly on the grill, then i see this! in front of my eyes

All of a sudden, my eyes get all big cz i'm very sure that's not my sis! i can't help being terrified, feeling like my heart skipped a few beats, lungs get squeezed.

Later with the help of dim moonlight, i can see better as the pupil in my eye gets bigger..
And after some prompt analytical judgement, my brain tells-- it's Soft Toy

*_^$@&+$%#&*(#

I called the police and 'he' had been detained for the sack of scaring the h*ll out of me

Background info:-
Birth name: Pingu
Origin: Swiss
Species: Penguin
Date of birth: unknown
Height: 24 inches
Weight: 750 gram
Occupation: all-time soft toy
Interest: sleep!
Owner: (will not be revealed to respect owner's privacy)

After the session of questioning, it is believed that it's an accident that he just unintentionally scared the victim without ulterior motive. Always so thoughtful and kindhearted, the victim didn't sue him. Pingu's been released.

*The arrest is not known by the owner shhhhh!!

Serious, this is not the first time, look directly at the dark figure.. it's eerie after all...

Happy Labour Day workers!
