I'm not much a speaker but expressing feelings through drawing shouldn't be a problem. A sketch diary- this is my favourite way to alleviate stress and escape from restless mind. Pick up a pencil and let my hand draw whatever it likes, scribble all over it. To me, paper is a place where i can put most of my thoughts down, also secrets. I draw what i feel and of course only me myself understand what lies behind each and every figures. Undoubtedly having music in the background is always preferable, so by blending the essence of music together with the flow in mind, one can probably lose himself/herself in the drawing, and this is what we called- Enjoy. In a nutshell, drawing just makes me feel calm and content =)
So as you can see (or maybe feel), what title should i give this drawing? haha hmm i shall personally name it Touch and Go.

Not only human, Mother Nature also undergoes mood swing. Weather fluctuates so quickly from scorching hot sun you see it here to heavy rain with thunderstorm in the next hour. For the past few days, you sat on the floor, i bet your buttocks didn't feel comfortable resting on warm tiles. After the evening shower, you sweated even when you were just sitting around, and you felt like taking shower again. You were grumping at the weather Aaah it's so hot and i feel i'm like in a sauna room, sweaty, sticky, itchy, dirty, yucky...
In hot weather, losing pounds of fluid is likely. So people, drink water when you first wake before taking anything to your mouth, it helps you flush your gut, stay hydrated, of course feel better :D (for those who has poor oral health/bad morning breath, doing this is quite recommended or you can kill the very first person you talk to every morning hahaha no offense)
During the previous hot days, my palms sweated more excessively, so so rebellious
*Those who have hyperhidrosis out there, do you experience dried palm skin and in turns starts to flake then you need to do the peeling? it's like sloughing off the old upper layer of skin to reveal brand new cell underneath, and this happens to me at least once or twice a year.
Not just hot and dry days, your body needs regular infusion of water during wet days to compensate water loss through breathing, urinating too.....
Well H2O...... it reminds me my primary schooldays when i took school van (instead of bus) to school. During the old times, guys used to bring 1.5 liter water bottle to school. For good boys, they finished the water just right after school, or forcefully made themselves finish the leftover in order to empty the bottle before reached home or they would get nagged by mama; As for naughty boys, they played tricks, they rolled down the window and poured the leftover water then finally grinned Like you, i have an empty bottle too *laughed out loud* The one who were not forgotten- their friend who was enjoying breeze flowing past his face at the back seat, i think he should have gotten a short and quick 'refreshing moment' by having his face 'washed' haha. Anyway to our dear dao gei, please listen to your mummy and be nice k, it's all for your own good.
Hmm i'm sure most of you know that Earth Hour is a wake up call, so how many of you are going to do your part? i know some of you may sound yes i'm going to turn off my lights, then i'll be driving to the nearby Starbucks....
Thing i only want to say anyhow- Vote Earth, also try take joy in Darkness =)

Being a Libran
Life keeps on throwing pebbles at me, ranging in size from a red bean to a hen's egg. Days have been intimidating lately until a point i was about to throw up my hands and run away and this is why i have not been in the mood to blog for the past week.
Results were out more than a week ago and i should say that i'm pleased with it, except for paper bio unit 3 which drags most of our average down, so in order to obtain a strong A, retake or not is the major dilemma brought to the A-Level students. When this little thingy was still pestering me, the news a friend of mine and her family got involved in a bad car accident on the way back from vacation stunned me into silence.
So people, when your friend flunk her chem test, you helped her for the next one; when your friend wept and complaint that the guy she adored doesn't like her, you adviced her there's plenty of fish in the sea and there must be somebody holding the other end of the red string somewhere on earth waiting; but now when your friend lost her brother, what you gonna do?
We listened to her that night and let her talk most of the time. Believe me she's a tough girl. And girl, don't worry we'll back you up **hugs** :)
Life still goes on, for the following days the person writing this was struggling like a lil duckling, she lost confidence in her adaptability and herself, exactly a scale that lost its balance. Days turned out better only during the end of week, she attended her good friend's birthday party.
Hmm having conversation with friends can certainly clear up one's mind (for me, at least) Yeah i'm proud to be a part of my ex-classmates, they are brilliant and they are friends that I wish I could spend more time with *smile* The party was awesome, just that i left too early. To birthday girl, hope you're having the best birthday ever! Stay cute k lol
Well i'm not sure what's actually going on inside me, but i'm sure i'm not a defeatist. Take things as learning experience, patience is the key--- this is what i used to remind myself and i believe i can again regain that balance within.
Life ain't easy, my uncle died yesterday...

The variable strokes
Being a student is inevitably a part of life experience. Some of you are still as if barley grains steeping and germinating under comfort zone; and some of you might have strode across the field of academic, started pursuing something more permanent. Now dive deeply into your previous schooldays, think what exactly obsessed you the most in the past. You never had to worry about householder insurance, politics, money matters, home security, debts right. You bite back when school laid down the law, you didn't even bother the snag in your shirt because you knew somebody would fix for you definitely--- it's all past history however. At this point you don't expect to be spoon-fed, and you can't just leave a broken marriage mend by itself almost as if magic.
Being an observant is also another way of learning. And i believe different people practice different style of jotting down notes to keep track of works-in-progress. Personal investigation finds that there's 5 types of students: Stainless, Thesaurus, Monotone, Artist and Wise Learner. Stainless are those who keep their textbooks clean and intact, meaning they don't highlight, underline or write notes inside, and just basically don't pen down anything while studying- Studying means studying, nothing else; Thesaurus usually has meaning of words written on top the vocabularies so diligently whilst Monotone's textbooks appear to be dull with extra notes written only in Black ink; It is understood that taking notes and highlighting is about turning a large chunk of text into a short descriptive summary but in the case of Artist, they prefer highlighting almost the entire lengthy paragraph in a variety of colours, over-utilising the Art of Highlighting; As for the last group, Wise Learner is characterised by making notes written in distinct coloured ink. So which class resembles you the most?
For me, i'm definitely all right having hurried and haphazard writings in my notes, i seldom erase them in fact b'coz a book without pencil scratch seems more likely spiritless. So go ahead and do it, if you're like me can't enjoy studying without pen scratching.
Hmmm some believe 'handwriting reflects a person's character', think that neat handwriting indicates the person is more systematic and on the other hand poor handwriting is a display of irresponsibility.
Frankly speaking i have inconsistent handwriting but i'm sure it has nothing to do with accountability issue and personal efficiency. Yup i can produce super neat handwriting ONLY when i spend more time doing it slowly (no doubt this is time-consuming) but then automatically my hand will start writing fast. You see, there are many times in my life i tried to be consistent whist writing but to no avail. Looking at how i write the f's, i never cross them frequently; For g's, j's and y's, i sometimes loop them with a large+opened/narrow+closed flourish, or sometimes just straight (sorry la hand muscle is too flexible, couldn't systermatize each and every stroke of the letters) All i can say is, my handwriting changes with my mood, i like change, can't stand with monotony. Moreover writing is also an art, and you don't expect me to use an invisible architect's scale to standardise the height and width of every letters don't you?
Likewise not-excellent-handwriting might just be a person who thinks faster than he/she writes :P I never said i am perfect, I don't have wonderfully tidy handwriting, and still i'm proud to say so *laugh out loud*

Rules and regulations:
1. Each player of this game starts off with 15 weird things/ habits/ little known facts about yourself.
2. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 15 weird things/habits/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly.
3. At the end, you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names.
4. No tags back!
1) While eating bread i used to eat all the crust off first.
2) Like soup, there's oil droplets floating on the surface - I like to link the oil droplets together as much as possible using spoon tip.
3) I never cracked a book on that particular exam day because it's been done all those nights before. Also --- 物极必反,器满则倾
4) I prefer sling bag over backpack, totes, handbag, shoulder bag....
5) I'm always cold, even when people are hot. I seldom switch on electrical fan at home.
6) Sleeping with my blanket over my head, i do this also on hot days.
7) I think lizards in my house like me.
8) When i was young i asked my papa It's not even nighttime, why drivers turn their lights on?? (they were actually brake light and signal light of vehicle)
9) I'm afraid of guys with 'lion's heart'.
10) Speaking about handwriting during family talks, I gotta admit when both my sisters point their fingers at me claiming "She!! the worst one!" (okay....er i think so...) But then mom usually sounds "That's why she can draw well" :P
11) I think the song Que Sera Sera is simply beautiful.
12) I can hardly stand on people who talk like Expert but actually they are just making noise and all wrong assumptions.
13) I will question my friend during homework session so as to clear my doubt, but most of the time i end up talking and explaining to myself.
14) I frequently sprained my ankle while running during previous schooldays.
15) As a child, i was thinking daddy might have picked a wrong name for me because 'chen wei' sounds so...... kiddy, and i thought it would never suit me when i've become a grown-up (lol i'm glad i didn't change my name)
I tag nobody.
Till then have a great week people! :D
